A-3p eDNA of japanese knotweed and giant knotweed in soil

A-3s eDNA of Canada goldenrod in soil

A-3t eDNA of Giant hogweed in soil

A-3u eDNA of Lupin in soil

A-3x eDNA of invasive species in soil

Equipment

·         suitable tool – eg metal spoons, disposable wooden spoons, planterspade

·         250 ml plastic jar or zip bag (can be ordered from ALS)

·         cooler bag with ice packs (can be ordered from ALS)

·         if necessary: water or wet wipes

Sampling

·         IMPORTANT! Use a new spoon or clean tools between sampling.

·         Sampling is suitable for both undisturbed and excavated soil.

·         We recommend taking several samples for excavation masses or for larger areas. Please avoid pooling samples for larger areas.

·         Soil from 0-10 cm deep is recommended whenever possible.

·         Transfer soil to a 250ml jar or zip bag. A couple of spoons per sample is enough (20-100 grams).

·         Put samples in cooler bag with ice packs and order form or order number.

·         Send as soon as possible after sampling to:
